Currently over 3,400 weekly, school-related, Bible Clubs (Good News Clubs) are held across the nation, reaching more than 119,000 children each week. Whether meeting off campus during school hours or on campus after school, these clubs provide opportunities for children in the public schools to hear the good news about Jesus and learn the truth of God’s Word, the Bible.
Each week the teachers from Trinity CRC present an exciting Bible lesson using colorful materials from CEF Press®. This action-packed time also includes songs, scripture memory, a mission story and review games or other activities focused on the lesson’s theme.
As with all CEF ministries, the purpose of our after-school Bible Club (Good News Club) is to tell the boys and girls the good news of the Lord Jesus Christ and establish (disciple) them in the Word of God, the Bible, and to become involved in a local church for Christian living. To accomplish this goal, each club includes a clear presentation of the good news about Jesus and an opportunity for children to accept Jesus as their Savior.
For the 2009-10 year we are proud to annouce that we will have two seperate Bible Clubs.
One will meet every Monday from 3:30-4:30 at Airport Heights Elementary starting on Monday, September 28, 2009.
The other will meet every Wednesday from 3:30pm-4:30pm at Russian Jack Elementary starting on Wednesday, September 30, 2009.
