Apr 21, 2024Sermon: Shining Like Stars – Part 2By: Pastor Ben HulstPhilippians 2.1-11: To know what it means to shine like stars, we first need to understand the glory of the light of Christ. For we follow from him. In ch. 2, Paul wants to highlight Christ's glory in his obedience to the Father, a willingness to give of himself in full obedience and not seek for himself glory. Mar 31, 2024Sermon: “Truth is Stranger than Fiction”By: Pastor Ben HulstMatthew 27.62-28.15: The resurrection of Jesus is not an earthly imagined reality, but one that must be brought to us from heaven above. But, it also calls for us to believe heaven's witness, that gets passed onto the women, and then the disciples, and then the world. By believing this 'strange' truth, our lives become reoriented around what is real and lasting. In the hardship of this life and its letdowns, the resurrection reorients us around hope, light, and life evermore.
