Matthew 26.1-16: As we make our way to Good Friday and Easter, we consider some different events that took place during Passion Week. This morning, the significant and extravagant act of the woman who pours the fragrance upon Christ’s head. Jesus describes it as a beautiful thing, a beautiful thing in response to the beauty that the woman saw in Jesus himself. It is true adoration of the extravagant kind.
