Genesis 28.10-22: In Advent, we find ourselves in the in-between, a time filled with anticipation, yet not quite being there yet. With this story of Jacob, we are confronted with this insecurity and God gives us a path through it. He opens heaven up so Jacob can see what is Real to guide him on his earthly and challenging journey. He goes forth in promise. So do we.
