I Peter 1.10-2.3: The events of Easter confirm that the word of the Lord endures forever, for the word of the world in condemnation of God to death did not hold. And with this knowledge of Christ that we’ve been given, everything has changed for us who believe this word. And it calls us to ‘gird up the loins of our minds’ to be ready for the fight before us. It is a battle for the true way – in right thinking to the true word and living that truth out in holy living. This leads us to eternity, for God’s word is the one that will last and endure to all eternity.
